Raise Your Hands Above The Ears

Are we limiting our walks only through social media posts?

When was the last time you have done a phoneless conversation with your best friend for a long time?

Last week, I spend a good time with IKIGAI, the Japanese book on the secrets of happy life and longevity.

My Linkedin friend referred me to this book, it was a totally different reading experience.

Unlike the common motivational and self-help book, here the results of research and solutions for a better life are suggested in a simple and academic manner.

Anyone without any scientific or habit of voracious reading could digest the facts in the same fashion we listen to the stories.

The best line I would pick from the book is an anecdote mentioned about the purpose of life and it says

“ He who has a why to live can bear with almost any how”

Are we raising our hands above our ears?

We have become a couch potato and complaining of all lifestyle diseases.

Ikigai suggests people who are active and balance their food live long.

I wish all of you read the book and copy the message.
